"Helping people restore their health through movement, nourishment, and nervous system regulation"

Meet Tennelle Sibarani

Tennelle is an experienced Naturopath, movement educator, and trainer based on the Sunshine Coast with over 20 years of clinical and teaching experience in health, movement, and education.

Her work sits at the intersection of naturopathy, functional nutrition, herbal medicine, somatic movement, and Pilates-based methodologies. She supports people to restore their health through the foundations that matter most — breath, movement, nourishment, nervous system regulation, and daily habits.

Tennelle’s approach is integrative, person-centred, and grounded in the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal when given the right support.

Clinical & Movement Practice

Tennelle has worked as a Naturopath at The Health Retreat for over a decade, specialising in mental health and wellbeing programs, where she supports clients through natural therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions.

Alongside her clinical work, she teaches Hanna Somatics, The Garuda Method, and Pilates, helping people reconnect with their bodies through intelligent movement and breath.

She is also a Student Mentor and VET Trainer with Tensegrity Training, guiding the next generation of movement professionals through education and mentoring.

Training & Professional Background

Tennelle holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) with advanced qualifications in Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, and Oriental Therapies. She is also extensively trained in Contemporary Pilates, embodied movement practices such as the Franklin Method and Garuda Method, and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

She has worked across health retreats, integrative medical clinics, pharmacies, and allied health practices alongside medical doctors and allied health professionals, completed Acupuncture internships in Chinese hospitals and clinics in Japan, and delivered health lectures in Australia and internationally.

Philosophy

Tennelle is a passionate advocate for sustainable, lifelong wellbeing.

Inspired by Hippocrates’ wisdom that food is medicine and Joseph Pilates’ belief that movement heals, she sees wellbeing as something cultivated daily through nourishment, movement, and awareness.

Her work is guided by a deep respect for the body’s intelligence and its capacity to restore balance when supported with the right tools.
